Synopsis

We awaken in life’s storms, like grains of wheat; we sprout, grow, and take root day by day. As tempests and floods swirl around us, we struggle to stand firm. Yet it’s only when we reach the season of old age, weary from the years, that we begin to grasp the essence of all these efforts.

Yet for thousands of years, we have failed to halt this unrelenting journey. Like tiny grains of wheat, we turn endlessly in the millstone, caught in the same, inescapable flow. And the most seasoned travelers of this journey are our elderly… those who have withdrawn their hands from the pursuits of life, waiting in quietude; their courage, acceptance, solitude, and silent witness standing steadfast against time.
